Hi again everyone –

For all of our premium shows this year, we will be offering two ways to submit questions:

1) In a forum thread (like this one) that will open in the morning before shows happen. Simply post your question at any point during the day and the show hosts will answer it on the live broadcast that evening.

or 2) In the live chat window that occurs alongside the show.

This thread is for Draft Guide Live Show #2, which is set to air on Wednesday, October 9 at 8pm PT and will be hosted by Souriyo Dishak and Adrian Benjamins!

NOTE: anyone can post questions in the thread, but only Draft Guide subscribers can watch the video. If you're not a subscriber and want to be one, head to the BUY page here: https://sportsethos.com/cartflows_step/2019-draft-guide-landing-page/

The show will air at this link: https://sportsethos.com/top-posts/2019-draft-guide-live-video-qa-2/

Hello, here are a couple of questions.

1. The dreaded 8th pick. Assuming the top7(Harden, KAT, Davis, Curry, Giannis, Jokič, Lillard) are gone who are you guys going with and why? 9-cat H2H.
2. When drafting how much are you looking at the fit for your team and how much do you just go by best available?
3. There has been a lot of talk regarding Kawhi's load management this season. Doc has come out saying it won't be as strict as it was last year. What is your outlook on his games played? PG13 out makes me think he won't be able to rest as much at least at the start of the season.
4. B-150 is out for all of the subscribers. Who are the players you think will significantly outperform their ADP's and which are the guys that the rest of the industry is sleeping on?

Thanks.

This question from Michael Kim came by email:

Would appreciate any thoughts especially on who i should look to pick up from the waivers.

10 team 9 cat H2H had the 4th pick

LuKa Doncic
Eric Bledsoe
Mike Conley
Jon Isaac
Andre Drummond
KAT
Mitchell Robinson
Miles Bridges
Wendell Carter Jr
Delon Wright
D Bertans
T Ross
D Powell

Klay Thompson (IL)

Not a big fan of Ross but had to pick up given my weak 3s. Still considering to drop Ross and potentially add more big man stats to just crush it on FG%, Rebs, Stls, Blks, TOs.

Still decent waivers:
WCS, Joe Harris, Taurean Prince, Kyle Anderson, Z Collins, Jeramk Grant, K Bazemore, D Saric, D Augustine, OG Anunoby. Maybe drop Ross for WSC? Or drop Powell for another 3 point shooter?

Also just got offered Giannis and Kemba for KAT and Luka. Should i take it? Thinking no as KAT plays more games and am expecting KATs assist numbers to get stronger this yr. Definitely prefer Kemba to Doncic, but thinking best to hold onto KAT given Giannis doesnt really have FG% that is remarkably better vs KAT.

Any thoughts appeciated. Thanks team!

Hi team,

Couple of questions as pre season is rolling through.

1) Davis Bertans - not starting during pre season, looks like Rui will win the job. Where does Bertans stand heading into the season? Thinking if he is in the 2nd unit, shouldn't consider drafting him in a 10 man league.

2) De'Andre Hunter - looks like he could potentially have the starting job locked up. Good size, good defense, and solid shooter. Are we looking at the ROTY?

3) Cedi Osman - wondering if you believe in good upside for him this yr. Always would have a few good games followed up by very empty ones. Think still decent triples and upside in steals makes him a solid top 100 player. Do you guys agree?

Thanks guys.

From a forum discussion today.

Given the equality across the top 5, and the drop to a similar plateau in quality for players through round two, Is the consideration of potential pairing more important this season than before?

For example:

10 team league your top 5 pick pairs with a 2nd pick is in the 15-20 range and you're more likely to get a decent guard - pick top 5 big men

12 team league you come back at 20-24 amd are likely looking at a big in round two - pick top five for guard stats.

Badly worded question on my part gents. You got to the essence in the end. Thanks for sticking at it.

Exact thoughs. The top 5 are hard to split so the kicker jn my mind is what quality you can get in round 2.

10 team you can get a top tier PG so i lean KAT or AD.

12 team ots much less likely so i bump Curry or Harden up
