Hello Hoop Ball readers, I'll be hosting a 12-team mock draft for POINTS leagues on yahoo this Thursday, September 28th at 6:00 p.m. PST

The default Yahoo points league settings are absolutely atrocious so I've modified them a bit. I found one setting that seems fairly balanced and will use it for our mock, the settings are as follows:

PTS +0.5
FGMake +1.65
FGMiss -1.35
FTMake +0.75
FTMiss -2.25
3PM +2.5
REB +1
AST +1.75
TO -2.5
BLK, STL +3.5
We made the FG and FT points based on 45% and 75% league averages, respectively. If your player shoots over those percentages, you gain points, and if you shoot below, you lose points. As I said up there, all the other stats are loosely based on league averages.

Default Yahoo settings did not give points for 3s, free throws, or field goals. They also did not penalize players for missing free throws or field goals.
