I'm playing in a 9-cat 10 team ESPN league this year. Haven't had much luck previously with developing a well rounded team. So I really want to come in to the draft with some guys to target that will pair alongside the player I draft #1. I have pick 4 and it looks like (after talking with the other guys) I'll be getting KAT or GA at this position. On the podcasts you speak about pairing up players that match well with your first round pick. In your opinion who are guys that match up I should target - assuming i want to punt assists?
I'd prefer KAT over GA, but I have a feeling you'll end up with GA or Steph or KD there. Seems like in the 2nd round you'll be picking from the end-of-the-round guys like Bledsoe, Middleton, Gobert, Donovan, Drummond, that type. So if you take that in mind, if you go big in the 1st, you may want to target small in the 2nd. If you go Steph in the 1st, you might want to target a blocks guy in the 2nd. That's all that means, when we talk about pairings. Just have an idea of who will be available to you when your next pick comes around and plan accordingly.
