Just smashed through some podcasts and ears perked up on your discussion about forum improvements. It's great to hear there are some ideas in the works, and look forward to seeing them launch.

In the interests of crowd sourcing content, which is the real function of forums - i took the liberty to jot some notes for you to either plagiarize as your own ideas, toss in the bin, or print and use to soak up water from your common area next time the neighbors hose things down.

One thing that jumped out to me immediately was some structure around the posts in the form of folder structure to allow people to self classify posts. Some key areas that could be valuable to segregate suggested as follows:
- Trade Ideas/Discussions - common topic for discussion
- Injury News - A great discussion topic
- Buy high/Sell Low - always a topic of interest to share information and check out who's worth pursuing (or shifting).
- Team Strategy - Not alot of discussion here, but something that would add value to people. A place to discuss how to use your stock through the season.

As a side note on the strategy piece, i agree with your approach to lagging behind on the games count in capped roto leagues. It's always good to save some games to cash in when players get good, and always value on the wire at end of season with key players start resting for playoffs. HOWEVER.... if you are stacked at a position (like centre), and everyone is playing well... i think you need to make hay. Play those guys in the centre spots on a priority basis and rotate them through.. If you end up too far ahead of the position games cap then you can look to trade them to add value on other stats/positions later in the season or just drop them into a Utility slot if you have one and still need their stat-set.

If others have ideas, maybe they could throw them in for consideration too. Nothing like crowd sourced goodness!

Oh, and yes, you should never bench a guy going top-75.

I'm merely suggesting you play your top 9 or 10 guys at the beginning of the year. Don't blow games on borderline fantasy guys when you don't fully know what you're going to get. I think we're basically in agreement - mostly discussing semantics here. Haha

Indeed we are... On the details, i wouldnt just leave those guys in your lineup and let nature take its course.

In your centre example id be cycling guys playing hot through the centre slots to use up limited games preferentially over the more flexible utility slots. You can always play them in the Util slots later, but if they go cold (or you trade the for a PG) you cant play other guys in the C slot.
