Thoughts on Ariza's value for the year? Will he be a top 50 player again on an average stats basis? Looks like shots are cold, but whats concerning is the reduction in shot attempts, specifically 3 point attempts. Will offseason moves cut into his shot attempts?
No. Too many mouths to feed, he's aging and being phased out. I'm in a 10 team 8 cat where he was dropped and cleared waivers. Nobody wants him.
In a 12-team he's definitely worth rostering. Even if he has a dropoff, he's still better than most waiver guys. He sat around 40 last year. Even 2-3 rounds would keep him as a top-75 guy. Give it time - he's a notoriously slow starter too (with the exception of last year).
To Andrew's point -- 10 teams and 8-cats is basically the only format he might fall outside the cut line. 9-cat he gets a boost, and any league of 12+ teams he's definitely still on the right side of the cut line.
