My league dropped Nurkic and he has been terrible this season... Do I pick him up? Do you see him turning it around or just being what he is?

Also this might be a bad question for the brand so If you want to take this down I don't blame you... but I started to follow @hoopball on twitter. The league I'm in is with a good friend (My arch nemesis) who sits right next to me at work and he was getting updates 10 minutes before I would get them from a different source. So the question is what is the best source for fantasy news?

This is extremely important to get the news first. My friend always makes a pickup when their is an injury before anyone because he gets the news first. I have Vucevic on my team and he knew he was hurt before I did. I wish I would have got to Biyombo before him.

Personally, I'd pick up Nurk. He can be a headache to own with the inconsistency and high turnovers, so be prepared for that...haha. As far as the brand thing goes, I think everyone checks out different sites. I see them as different tools for the job. Rotoworld/ESPN are more about breaking news, which is important, but I love the HOOB because it gives a less-biased view and future outlook of players.

So, here's the thing.

There is indeed a twitter account that's basically always first ... but it doesn't provide context or analysis. It's a DFS site called Fantasy Labs. I'm okay with writing that because we offer a service they don't, which is analysis on a particular piece of news. Their tweet simply states the news itself with no context. In fact, follow both of us, since we can give you advice on what to do next, but maybe if something is super obvious (like Vuc/Biz) then all you'd need is the news.

As far as Nurk goes, yeah you probably have to pick him up even if you bench him for a bit to see how it goes. 🙂
