Brad is back to talk Trae Young’s All Star Candidacy, Hawks surge back to a playoff spot, and a must anticipated matchup vs. Philly on Friday. Hawks are quietly sending a message and Brad will relay it to you.
No LeBron James, no problem for the Lakers? If only it was that easy. Despite missing the King (protocols) for the indefinite future, the Lakers look poised to lean on Anthony Davis in order to try and turn the corner.
Ethan and JC are back to discuss the emergence of Malik Monk, the absurdity of the emphasis on Trevor Ariza, and the importance of AD as a vocal leader. The fellas also touch on DJ, Rondo, and more on this go-around of the Ethos Lakers podcast.
At 8-14 and coming off two straight ass-kickings, we’ve tired ourselves of talking about this putrid team. Instead, we focus (most) our attention on hyping up a Kings team that does care: the STOCKTON Kings.
We divulge into the G-League world, and close by reviewing some of our preseason “sleeper” squads. Unsurprisingly, Jill’s team’s are killing it; Sam regrets ever thinking the Magic could be good.
Tune in Friday for our next (and much needed) fan roundtable discussion!

The Atlanta Hawks pummel the Grizzlies at home. Final Score Hawks 132 – Grizz 100. Unfortunately the score of the game is not the story from tonight. Ja Morant was helped to the locker room and all of Grizz Nation is holding their breath waiting for updates. David and Isaac are here with the postgame and more.
Where do we even start? The Lakers are playing an indefensible brand of basketball, they are completely disconnected as a team, and the effort looks laughable on most nights. The 3OT best worst game of the season was the Lakers poorest showing of the campaign, and while firing Frank Vogel is sure to be a hot Lakers topic, making a change at the helm doesn’t repair the roster. We’re officially past the point of patience, the Lakers are just not a very good basketball team.
Join Ethan on a solo ride of the ETHOS LAKERS podcast to welcome Festivus and the airing of our grievances.
The Sixers are hanging on, missing, at times, the entire starting lineup. Adam Sherman breaks down a very weird road trip with big guns coming back soon!
Its a Thanksgiving Miracle! The Pelicans smash the Wizards from siren to siren 102-127. BI found his shot, dropping 26 and Josh Hart stuffed the stats sheet as has been his way this year! Lyle celebrates the wonderful victory!
The Memphis Grizzlies fall at home to the Toronto Raptors 126 – 113. Grizzlies fall to 9-9 on the season tied for the 8th seed in the west. What led to the Grizzlies downfall?? I’m sure we don’t have to tell you, but we will! Defense. The Grizzlies inability to stop dribble penetration has been an achilles heel for the entirety of the young season. Tonight was no exception. David rolls solo for this postgame.
