Hey, Dan. Enjoy your broadcast for LMU. A question about a word choice: “native.” Where do you get the information that a player is a “Los Angeles native”? Does the roster actually list where the players are born? Or does it list where they live now? In the professional game, it appears that info is available about where players are born, where they are natives, but is that available in the college game?
Yep! We get rosters in the press box with home town, and then oftentimes if there’s any confusion we can always look what high school they went to for more context. Thanks for listening! Definitely didn’t expect to get a comment on the LMU game here on my Ethos show page. Hahaha
