Welcome to today’s DFS Delivery article.

Tonight, we have 5 games on the slate and a ton of value from the Nets side, since they decided to rest most of their roster and we get a ‘James Harden with marginal NBA players’ team!

So, let’s go and have a look at some of my top plays for tonight, at the time of writing.

    Player Tiers

    Expensive Tier

James Harden ($10,700) – Durant and Irving are both out tonight, so it is James Harden night! Harden has 35.6% usage without both of them on the floor this season, almost a 7% jump from his season rates! Harden scored 65 DK points last night and that’s with Durant and Irving on the floor. Honestly, I cannot see how or why he won’t be in your lineups tonight.

Ja Morant ($9,200) Morant comes at a nice discount over several other higher-salaried options at the position but offers as much upside as any guard on the slate. He is averaging over 45 fantasy points per game on both sites over his last five contests and has scored under 40 on only three occasions in the last 10 games overall. The Timberwolves are allowing the sixth-most points per road game (114.5) and the second-most assists per contest (26.9) in that split but regardless, Morant seems to be matchup-proof at this point and a must-play at his price.

    Mid-Tier

Josh Hart ($6,800) –  Hart is having a career year, from a statistical point of view at least, and has averaged just under 40 fantasy points per contest on both sites in two games against the Clippers this season, netting double-digit rebounds in both of them. The Clippers defense has dropped considerably since George got hurt and is giving up 45 fantasy points per game to opposing guards in the last 15 games.

Brandon Clarke ($5,200) – Clarke has averaged over 30 fantasy points in his last six games and has put up 11.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 block across just 20.5 minutes in two previous contests against the T-Wolves this season. Given the fact that he is playing around 26 minutes since Adams went into the COVID protocols, the path is there for him to get to those numbers again. The T-Wolves are also giving up 57 fantasy points per game to centers for the season.

    Value

Day’Ron Sharpe ($4,700) – Sharpe is averaging 46.6 DK points per 36 minutes without Irving, Durant, Mills, and Claxton that are out tonight. He is an excellent per-minute producer either way and in the last two games that he has reentered the rotation, he is averaging 29.5 DK points in 23 minutes. He is the preferred value option from the Nets tonight for me since I figure that he will see 25+ minutes and that’s more than enough for him to 6x or 7x his salary.

Cameron Thomas ($4,300) –  The second in order from the Nets value options is Cam Thomas for me. His usage rate jumps to 25.7% and is averaging 34 DK points per 36 minutes with all the Nets that are out tonight, off the floor. He had an awful game yesterday but in the previous 3 games before that, he was averaging 26.2 DK points in 28 minutes of play.

Honorable Mentions: Nikola Jokic ($12,500), D’Angelo Russell ($7,900), Bobby Portis ($6,900), Ben McLemore ($4,200), Kessler Edwards ($3,600)
