Weather Impacts for NFL Week 5

    The weather will be good to perfect for Week 5 NFL games. The only minor exception is that there is a small chance of a passing shower in Jacksonville for the Monday Night Football game. They’ll have a bit of a cross wind, too, but it should have little impact on the game.

    This weekly SportsEthos NFL weather report shows the weather forecast for each outdoor game. We will look for weather conditions that may help – or hinder – your fantasy players. We’ll also highlight games where weather forecasts may help us with Over/Under betting decisions.

    The forecasts for each game are immediately below. If you’re interested in how various types of weather impact scoring of skill position players, check out the list at the bottom of this article.

    NOTE: This report does not include games that are played in domes or retractable roof stadiums that are expected to have a closed roof.

     

    WEEK 5 SCHEDULE

    Sunday, October 5

     

    Minnesota Vikings vs Cleveland Browns in London (9:30am EDT)

    Weather: Mostly cloudy and 60 degrees. West winds 5-10 mph.

    Impacts: None.

     

    Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles (1pm EDT)

    Weather: Sunny. Temps near 80 degrees with southwest winds at 5 mph.

    Impacts: None.

     

    Dallas Cowboys at NY Jets (1pm EDT)

    Weather: Sunny and 81 degrees with south winds near 5 mph.

    Impacts: None.
