The Bucks had won Game 3 at home to get back into the series, but Damian Lillard’s Achilles injury early in Game 4 not only allowed the Pacers to take control later in the game, but also likely finished the Bucks mentally with the series now at 3-1. The Pacers already had the advantage on paper, and Lillard’s absence completely shifts the balance even further in their favor. With the Cavs having swept Miami, it is crucial for the Pacers to close out this series quickly and secure extra rest before the next round — and at home, they won’t take any chances and should finish the job.
