Although it’s surprising to see Chelsea in the Conference League playoffs, I believe we can turn this into an advantage. Chelsea, a very young team with a squad full of prospects under newly appointed Maresca, began the Premier League with a tough match against City and struggled to secure the win. Having followed Maresca’s team during preseason matches against Real Madrid and Inter, I can see they have the capability to win against such opponents and, most importantly, to score goals. In a match where the starting 11 selection will be crucial, I believe Chelsea will secure the necessary result in the first half and, on paper, should make easy work of Swiss side Servette.
