NBA: Knicks vs. Pistons, 7pm EST Pistons +1.5 (-110) 1 unit (Fanatics)
If the Pistons hadn’t made things unnecessarily complicated in the fourth quarter of Game 1, they could be entering this matchup with a chance to close out the series, instead, they come in with things all tied up. The Knicks lack serious bench depth, and it’s only a matter of time before their main rotation players start to wear down physically, especially considering how many heavy minutes they logged during the regular season under Thibs. Little Caesars Arena will host playoff basketball for the first time in years, and the energy in the building should be palpable. I liked the fight the Pistons showed in the first two games of the series, and now back on their home floor, they should be even more comfortable. Given all that, I’m siding with the home team here.
