In Serie A, five teams are separated by just three points in the race for the final Champions League spot — and both of these sides are right in the thick of it. Roma are making history under Ranieri, now unbeaten in 18 matches. I expected that streak to end last week away to Inter, but they pulled off a smart 1-0 win with disciplined football. Fiorentina have also found their rhythm and are a resilient, productive side, but their Conference League tie against Real Betis presents a scheduling disadvantage. Roma should take advantage of their opponent’s fatigue and grab all three points here.
