EFL Cup Final: Liverpool vs. Newcastle united, 12:30pm EST Both Teams to Score (-145) 1 unit (Fanatics)
Liverpool finds themselves in another League Cup final, this time against Newcastle, who last reached this stage two years ago. Newcastle is desperate to end their 70-year trophy drought and will be highly motivated, but they’ll have to cope without Anthony Gordon, a key attacking threat. Still, with in-form striker Alexander Isak leading the line, they remain dangerous. Liverpool, despite enduring a grueling 120-minute battle against PSG midweek, will be motivated to add this trophy to their collection. Injuries at right back continue to be a concern, with Trent Alexander-Arnold sidelined, which could leave them vulnerable on both ends. Given Liverpool’s attacking quality and Newcastle’s determination, this final is likely to be more open than last year’s 1-0 extra-time win over Chelsea. Both teams should find the net in regulation time.
