After the 2004 Olympics, Serbia only participated in the 2016 Olympics, where they reached the final. They also made it to the final of the World Cup last season. Lucic is not in the squad, and Kalinic, Nedovic, and Teodosic have retired from the national team. It was a great joy when Jokic decided to play in this summer’s Olympics. Key players such as Micic and Bogdanovic are also in the squad, making Serbia a team to watch.

While the United States did not bring many superstars to the World Cup, they enter the Olympics with their top players. Consequently, they have lost only one match in the last four Olympics and have consistently become champions. Leonard left the team and was replaced by Derrick White. Despite his age, LeBron still shows how much of an impact he can make. They nearly lost against South Sudan and had a tight game against Germany, realizing they need to play with greater concentration.

Eleven days ago, Serbia, without Bogdanovic and Milutinov, lost 105-79 against the United States. This time around, I expect an even higher-scoring game.
