This final is crucial for Manchester City, as it gives them a chance to salvage what’s been an otherwise disappointing season. Several major stars will be saying goodbye at the end of the campaign, and they’ll want to go out with a trophy in hand. Of course, it’s a huge occasion for Crystal Palace as well — reaching the final alone is a major achievement for a team that doesn’t often get this far. Still, I believe the gap in squad quality will be the deciding factor. That’s why I’m backing Pep Guardiola and his side to lift the trophy.
