Edwards was hoping for a rematch with Belal Muhammad but instead finds himself facing Sean Brady in London. While Brady has developed strong grappling skills, Edwards is the superior striker, and that will be the key difference here. Brady averages a strong number of takedowns per three-round fight, but Edwards has proven difficult to take down, especially showcasing that ability against the division’s elite like Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington, despite a tough outing against current champ Belal Muhammad in their last bout. Edwards has shown resilience in grappling exchanges, and with his superior striking combined with his durability and desire to bounce back to his title reign form, he should have the edge in a competitive battle. As the underdog, there’s great value in Edwards, who remains undefeated by submission and is always dangerous, particularly in a home country showdown.
