The Mavericks have now won four of their last five games and continued to strengthen their position in the play-in race with an important road win over an in-form Chicago squad. Klay Thompson stepped up, Dinwiddie delivered in the clutch, and Washington continues his upward trend. While Davis returned, several rotation pieces remain uncertain heading into this one, and both Irving and Exum remain out for the season. The Nets, meanwhile, snapped a six-game losing streak with a dramatic late bucket from Timme in Washington. Wilson and Martin contributed after poor stretches, but Cam Thomas remains out for the season and Cam Johnson’s status is still unclear. The Mavericks handled this matchup on the road just last week, and they should cruise again at home this time.
