Welcome to Thursday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 3/6! Typically this late in the season, you start seeing names that you are maybe hearing for the first time all season. This night however, there are plenty of adds who have staying power beyond tanking motivations. Don’t worry, I filtered through the games to highlight the standouts. Read about them below!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Tari Eason, F, HOU (43% rostered)
Tonight: 31 minutes, 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four triples, two boards, four assists, five steals, one block.
Analysis: What are we doing her people? Eason is a defensive dynamo who can also rack up some threes and points for your squad. With this sort of nightly upside, he should rostered in standard leagues. He started tonight over Jabari Smith Jr., giving him even more of a safe fantasy floor.
Aaron Nesmith, F, IND (23% rostered)
Tonight: 35 minutes, 21 points (8-for-15 FGs, 1-for-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks, four triples.
Analysis: It took Nesmith quite a few weeks to get back up to speed after his ankle injury at the beginning of the season. Did you know he has been top-100 the past week though??? Nesmith does it with more roto-friendly production, but that plays well into category leagues as well. As a fan of his game, he should be more rostered than this.
