Thursday Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 3/27

  • By Mark C

Welcome to Thursday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 3/27! With the week passing the midway point, I identified plenty of adds that could help you make your playoff push. With a crowded slate, let’s just get right to the list of names!

    Standard Leagues

    (<50% rostered on Yahoo)

Kyle Filipowski, F/C, UTA (29% rostered)

Tonight: 33 minutes, 16 points (5-of-10 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), one triple, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks.

Analysis: Filipowski is a versatile big with the abilty to produce across all fantasy categories. He has had plenty of poor nights, but this sort of upside is rare to find in a typical streaming pickup. Filipowski should see plenty of run on a tanking Jazz squad the rest of the season, so make sure you scoop him up for general all-around production.

Kevin Huerter, G/F, CHI (25% rostered)

Tonight: 40 minutes, 21 points (8-of-17 FG), five triples, six rebounds, five assists, one steal.

Analysis: I have to assume Huerter’s relatively low roster percentage is due to teams losing attention this late in the season. Nevertheless, he needs to be rostered in standard leagues. He’s been on fire with expanded minutes ever since arriving to the Bulls. You can trust Huerter for some points and triples, and he’ll usually add other stats across the board.
