Welcome to Thursday Night Pickups: Fantasy Basketball Adds for 11/21! Only four games tonight, but that doesn’t mean there is not action in the fantasy basketball world! Let’s run through some of the pickups!
Standard Leagues
(<50% rostered on Yahoo)
Grant Williams, F/C, CHA (32% rostered)
Tonight: 40 minutes, 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), one triple, three boards, one assist, one steal, one block
Analysis: In case you haven’t heard, the Hornets are once again having injury issues at center. Williams has filled in admirably, putting up production across the board. As long as other options remain out, Williams is a solid standard league hold.
Isaiah Stewart, F/C, DET (14% rostered)
Tonight: 29 minutes, 13 points (5-of-5 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), nine boards, three assists, one steal, two blocks
Analysis: While Stewart has seen a reduction in minutes and is playing nearly all of his minutes at center, that actually has been a plus for his fantasy game. Stewart was always a strong rebounder, but now his FG% and blocks are value-adds additionally. If you are in need of those stats, give Stewart a look. He is making this position a timeshare.
