We went on an absolute tear in free play for about 3 weeks. We’ve cooled off a touch, but that just means it’s time to reignite the flames. Jonathan Martinez (@m42tinez) is the perfect guy to light the fire and get us on the right track again.

Franmil Reyes Home Run (+300) 1u
Franmil Reyes is one of the biggest bats in all of baseball but doesn’t quite garnish the attention of other power hitters. He’s reached 30 home run mark for the first time in his young career and matches up against a pitcher that is susceptible to giving up the long ball. White Sox starter Dylan Cease was dominate in his last performance against the Rangers when he recorded 10 strikeouts but prior to that gem allowed seven homers in his last eight starts. The issue Cease can have is locating his four-seamer, a pitch that Reyes has done most of his damage over his career. According to Baseball Savant, half of Reyes’s home runs (15) have come off the four-seam fastball while batting .281 and slugging .568 in 2021. The Cleveland slugger has registered 21 home runs against righties and 16 at Progressive Field this season. He’s also 2-for-4 lifetime against Cease and will be looking to add a homer against the Chicago pitcher.
