Fantasy Football 2025 Week 14 Recap & Predictions | Mostradamus Review

  • Every week I will do a quick drive thru of the all the games and cover the relevant fantasy points.  I will look at things that might be fluky or here to stay and try and point everyone in the right direction for the future.  We never want to overreact to a small-sample size, but sometimes getting in too early is still better than missing the boat entirely.

    Lions 44 -Cowboys 31

The shootout played out the way everyone was expecting, but CeeDee Lamb got concussed and George Pickens was held in check.  Dak Prescott topped 300 passing yards for the third straight game and it won’t get any easier than this.  Ryan Flournoy posted nine catches for 115 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets and if Lamb has to miss a game, he’s a must-add player although the matchup vs. MIN isn’t ideal.  George Pickens was limited to 37 yards on five catches, his lowest total since Week 1.  Javonte Williams topped 1,000 rushing yards on the season, logging 67 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries this Sunday and he’s in the running for fantasy value of the season.  Jared Goff completed 25 of 34 passes for 309 yards and a touchdown and it was great to see Amon-Ra St. Brown back so quickly after his injury.  St. Brown went for six catches for 92 yards on nine targets and looked great despite no one thinking he was going to play on TNF.  Jahmyr Gibbs totaled 120 yards and three rushing touchdowns, adding seven catches for 77 yards and he stole the show and likely won your fantasy matchup…again.  Jameson Williams led Detroit with seven catches for 96 yards and while he was great, it wasn’t exactly the season-defining moment everyone predicted when they assumed St. Brown would be out.  Isaac TeSlaa caught two passes for 20 yards and a touchdown and if you started him, you have to be happy with that.

Pickup of the game: WR – Ryan Flournoy – Priority Med

    Seahawks 37 – Falcons – 10

The Seahawks defense is not to be trifled with and you almost can’t start anyone against them right now.  Kirk Cousins completed just 15 of 30 passes for 162 yards and threw two interceptions and without Drake London, he’s useless.  Bijan Robinson handled 20 carries for 86 yards and added two catches for eight yards and hopefully he can bounce back in the playoffs this week vs. TB.  Darnell Mooney managed just one catch for six yards on four targets and the entire offense was stuck in mud.  Not the Seahawks offense though as Sam Darnold completed 20 of 30 passes for 249 yards and three touchdowns.  Jaxon Smith Njigba went off for 92 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches as this game was over quickly.  Kenneth Walker III managed 29 yards on 10 carries and caught one pass and he’s having a nightmare season, but at least he’s healthy.  Zach Charbonnet led Seattle with 46 rushing yards on seven carries and added 20 yards and him and Walker both no-showed in a great spot.  Rashid Shaheed posted 67 yards on four catches while Cooper Kupp caught two passes for 35 yards and a touchdown, but it’s impossible to trust either with the playoffs on the line and IND up next with no QB.  SEA should win easily and be running the ball in the second half.

Pickup of the game – None

    Titans 31 – Browns 29

The bad weather in this game didn’t seem to matter as multiple players had the best game of their fantasy season.  Shedeur Sanders locked in the starting job after a 364-yard, four-touchdown performance.  Jerry Jeudy turned five targets into three catches, 76 yards, and a touchdown.  Harold Fannin Jr. erupted for eight catches, 114 yards, and a touchdown on 11 targets and he’s locked as a top-TE option the rest of the season.  Quinshon Judkins handled 14 carries for just 26 yards but saved his line with a 58-yard reception and should have a great matchup vs. the Bears in Week 15.  Cam Ward completed 14 of 28 passes for 117 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and hopefully you didn’t start him vs. the elite CLE defense.  Tony Pollard erupted for 161 rushing yards and two long touchdowns on 25 carries and no one saw this coming.  The entire TEN is a stayaway, but you could start Pollard vs. SF and hope he stays hot.

Pickup of the game –  QB – Shedeur Sanders – Priority Low

    Bills 39 – Bengals 34

This was a shootout in the snow and it was a classic.  Joe Burrow shredded Buffalo for 284 yards and four touchdowns on 25-of-36 passing and he is primed to go off vs. BAL even though he will likely be without Tee Higgins. Tee Higgins re-entered concussion protocol after his two-touchdown performance.  That means Ja’ Marr Chase hopefully shows up after catching five of eight targets for 44 yards.  He hasn’t been great since his suspension, but he can still save fantasy GMs with a monster Week 15.  Chase Brown logged 12 carries for 23 yards and a touchdown, adding three grabs for 12 yards and another score and the TDs saved his fantasy day.  Josh Allen completed 22 of 28 passes for 251 yards and three touchdowns while adding 78 rushing yards and another score and he’s going to be the tip of the spear for this BUF offense down the stretch.  James Cook handled 18 carries for 80 yards and added two catches for 31 yards and should have had a score if he didn’t fumble at the goal-line.  Dalton Kincaid turned five targets into four catches, 41 yards, and a score and CIN remained awful vs. TEs, a theme all season.  Dawson Knox posted six receptions for 93 yards on seven targets, but he’s not relevant unless BUF is playing CIN.

Pickup of the game – None

    Vikings 31 – Commanders 0

Jayden Daniels is dealing with a sore, non-throwing elbow, and his Week 15 status remains uncertain as the team monitors him and it would be shocking if he played again this season.  Chris Rodriguez Jr. handled 10 carries for 52 yards while Jacory Croskey-Merritt logged seven carries for 32 yards.  The WAS team is a mess with the constant flux at QB and it showed in the receiving game.  Terry McLaurin turned six targets into three catches for 41 yards while Deebo Samuel Sr. caught four of six targets for 27 yards.  The Week 15 matchup vs. the Giants is taste though and you might be forced to start Deebo and/or McLaurin.  J.J. Mcarthy completed 16 of 23 passes for 163 yards and three touchdowns and while the passing yards was awful, the TDs were great and maybe a sign McCarthy isn’t a total bust.  Justin Jefferson caught two of four targets for 11 yards and his nightmare season continues.  You have to start him, but at what cost each week.  Jordan Addison led the team with four catches for 62 yards on seven targets and while he had a better day than JJ, it’s hard to trust him each week.  Aaron Jones Sr. handled 14 carries for 76 yards, but with DAL up next, he’s a a borderline flex play as DAL has been great vs. RBs lately.

Pickup of the game – None

    Dolphins 34 – Jets  10

The Dolphins are making a late-season run to competency and it’s not behind the arm of Tua Tagovailoa.   Tua threw for just 127 yards and one touchdown and he’s regressed as a QB and is unplayable in any format.  Jaylen Waddle led Miami with 50 yards and a touchdown on seven targets which is crazy considering how bad Tua was.  Jaylen Wright handled 24 carries for 107 yards and a score after Achane’s exit and he could be a league swinger if Achane is forced to miss time.  Achane was great before he got hurt, racking up 92 rushing yards and a touchdown on just seven carries, but rib injuries are tough and it’s 50/50 whether he plays in Week 15 or not.  Tyrod Taylor exited early with a groin injury and may not be ready for Week 15, leaving the Jets uncertain at quarterback.  It’s messy right now and the only player you can really trust is Breece Hall, but he still only managed just 43 yards on 14 carries and saw only one target.  John Metchie drew eight targets for the third straight week but turned them into just 34 yards and Adonai Mitchell didn’t do anything as the Jets were a mess at QB all day.  It Taylor is back, both are on the radar for the fantasy playoffs.

Pickup of the game – TE – Brenton Strange – Priority Med
