2025 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Vol. 8

  • The NFL season is fulling underway, with another multitude of big time injuries that will sideline RBs like Bucky Irving, Trey Benson and Chubba Hubbard. Teams are starting to adjust the way they utilize their personnel, with players earning more playing time at the expense of others. Now’s the time to fire away on the wire, some some clear options as well as some depth you should be eyeing earlier than the rest of your league. Had you been over the past couple of weeks, you wouldn’t have to fight for this week’s top priority.

    The Crown Jewel

Oronde Gadsden III, LAC (5%) – Anytime a player goes for 232 yards over the last two games, they are going to make some noise on the wire.  The Chargers have a deep WR core, but the running game has fallen off and with Justin Herbert slinging it for 400 yards last week, there is room for a stud TE.  With Brock Bowers hurt/bye week, Trey McBride bye week and George Kittle laying a goose egg, Gadsden is looking very attractive right now.  (FAAB: 20%)

    Quarterbacks

Joe Flacco, CIN (12%) – Flacco doesn’t run, but he does throw to Ja’Marr Chase as many times as humanely possible.  That alone is worth a look as he’s got five passing TDs over his two games.  Flacco is mostly a Super Flex option in the right matchup and with a Chase or Tee Higgins stack, he is also very attractive.  (FAAB: 1QB 0%)

Andy Dalton, CAR (0%) – Bryce Young is going to miss at least a week and that means it’s time to load up the red rifle.  Dalton is a much better passer than Young and with the running game firing on all cylinders, Dalton is an ideal replacement in Super Flex leagues.  The Bills are up next for CAR and they just got worked by Michael Penix and Drake London. (FAAB: 2QB 10%)
