It’s time to either go all-in to make the playoffs or start building your team for the playoffs. Either way, the wire is the best way to get your team to level up and the only way to do that is to follow our advice. Happy hunting.
The Crown Jewel
Emanuel Wilson, RB , GB (10%) – The odds that Josh Jacobs could survive the season with his workload were always slim and now he’s gone down, but no one knows how long. Wilson stepped in and carried 11 times for 40 yards and a touchdown, adding a nine-yard reception. Jacobs is supposed to be week-to-week, but we’ve learned that we can’t trust teams when it comes to their medical evaluations. The Packers are a run-first team that often plays from the lead. Wilson might not an all-world talent, but he’s in an all-world situation and if Jacobs misses more time than expected, Wilson will swing leagues. (FAAB: 25%)
Quarterbacks
Kirk Cousins ATL (1%) – Michael Penix Jr. is out for the season and that means back to old trust hand. If Drake London wasn’t out, maybe Cousins would have some value, but the passing offense is soley tied to London, so Cousins only makes sense as an emergency fill-in for Super Flex leagues. (FAAB: 2QB 1%)
Jacoby Brissett, ARI (35%) – It’s borderline insane how well Brissett continues to play. He just broke the record for completions in a game and that was without his WR1 Marvin Harrison Jr. The schedule is brutal down the stretch, so that might play in favor of Brissett continuing to air it out. If Michael Wilson is a legit WR now, the offense just got even more dynamic. It might be hard to start him over some bigger names, but he’s got at least 19 fantasy points in all five of his starts. It’s no longer a fad, it’s a legit trend that we should be backing.  (FAAB: 2QB 50%)
