After heading to the locker room six minutes into Sunday's contest vs. the Blazers, the Sixers have confirmed Joel Embiid (left ankle) will not return.

Not good. The Sixers already lost Ben Simmons (left knee) this week, and Embiid was all set to post first-round value. The injury-prone Embiid is now facing a murky situation, and with the Sixers safely in the playoffs at this point, it would be foolish to rush him back from the injury. Embiid just needs to be game-ready when the playoffs begin, but that's not going to do much for restart leagues.
