Joel EmbiidC, Philadelphia SixersAfter Sunday's scrimmage, Brett Brown said that he's not concerned about Joel Embiid's bout of right calf tightness.
Embiid was unable to play on Sunday but this doesn't seem to be serious, and the Sixers have every right to be cautious with Embiid's health. More broadly, this may be the sort of soft tissue injury that teams were worried about with players jumping into action after four months off, in hot and humid Florida no less. Hopefully Embiid is able to play in Philly's final scrimmage and erase all concerns about his availability for the seeding games.
