Kevin DurantSF, Brooklyn NetsIf the 2019-20 season were to resume, General Manager Sean Marks did not rule out Kevin Durant returning from his torn Achilles to take part in the action.
This is a different tone than Kevin Durant's business partner, Rich Kleinman, struck. Marks elaborated that the team is trying to not think about the subject too much, and largely trusts that Durant knows his body best. Durant has sat out 11 months with the injury, and would obviously provide a huge boost to the Nets postseason run. It would be great to get a peek at how close Durant is to delivering top-5 fantasy value that he produced before the torn Achilles. For what it's worth, Kleinman probably has a better impression of Durant's outlook on his return, but a lot will depend upon when the league-wide suspension of play concludes.
