Kemba WalkerPG, Boston CelticsKemba Walker (knee) continues to ramp up his activity and went through an hour of Tuesday's practice, though he is unlikely to play in Friday's scrimmage game.
The Celtics have Walker on a one-on, one-off plan to help him strengthen his knee before the real games begin by giving him every other day off from practice. We'd expect them to try and get Kemba into at least one scrimmage game but there's no need to rush him into the very first one. Brad Stevens said that Walker is "close," so for now he should be expected to be ready when Boston kicks off its Orlando schedule.
