Derrick WhitePG, San Antonio SpursDerrick White underwent surgery on the second toe of his left foot, per Adrian Wojnarowski.
This is the first news of any foot problem for White, who dealt with a left knee contusion in the bubble. It seems as though he'll be fully ready for the start of next season, but we'll keep you posted. White was just a late-round fantasy player this past season due to limited playing time, and he'll only be able to reach his ceiling if Gregg Popovich relents and allows White and Dejounte Murray to share the floor more frequently. The two overlapped for just 2.7 mpg prior to the league's shutdown, capping each under 30 mpg despite their obvious talents.
