Ben Simmons (back tightness) will sit out Thursday's game against the Nets.

Simmons first reported the issue at yesterday's practice and it's enough to keep him out of the Sixers' first game back as they scrap for home court in the first round. More treatment wasn't enough to get him ready for this one and it should mean more minutes for guys like Alec Burks, Raul Neto and Furkan Korkmaz off the bench. Maybe Al Horford returns to the starting five, too.
