The NBPA has reportedly voted to tentatively approve the NBA's proposal for the 2020-21 season, featuring a December 22 start date and a 72-game schedule.
Here we go. The league is going to be condensing its offseason into just two months, with free agency likely to kick off a couple of days after the November 18 draft, with an abbreviated training camp and preseason to follow. There's still a lot to work out in terms of how the games will be played but it looks like basketball will be back for the holidays.
