Speaking on TNT on Thursday, commissioner Adam Silver said that the NBA's hiatus would be "most likely, at least 30 days."

Silver added that the NBA simply doesn't know enough yet to offer a more concrete timeline, and that a potential return to play will also depend on developments regarding treatment tactics for COVID-19. Other reports have surfaced about some ownership groups being willing to play the season into August if need be, but anything about a potential return date is simply speculation at this point.
