Seth CurrySG, Dallas MavericksSeth Curry was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field in Thursday's scrimmage win over the Lakers, posting 23 points and six 3-pointers in just 14 minutes of action.
Well, Curry certainly didn't have to shake off any rust. He was absolutely rolling prior to the league's shutdown (and an ankle sprain that cost him the final three games of the "real" regular season) and shot a cool .453 from deep on the year, so this sort of marksmanship is well within his range of output. The Mavs will need someone to step up as a secondary distributor with Jalen Brunson out and Curry's shooting may help his case for more minutes. Delon Wright was decent with five points, two rebounds, five assists, a block and a triple in 22 minutes while J.J. Barea went scoreless with two dimes in 17 minutes. Keep an eye on how Rick Carlisle reshapes his backcourt group, as it's possible that one or two of this trio emerges with late-round value for the resumption season.
