• Kawhi Leonard
    SF, Los Angeles Clippers

Kawhi Leonard tried to put the Clippers on his back in Sunday's OT loss to the Mavs but came up just short despite 34 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Leonard was sitting on a poor shooting line entering the late game, so of course he ends at 10-of-22 from the field in 47 minutes. He had almost no help from his teammates today (Lou Williams excepted) and simply fell victim to a masterful game from Luka Doncic. It seems like a come-to-Jesus moment for the Clippers, who will almost surely have Kawhi check Doncic on defense from now on. They threw away an opportunity to go up 3-1 with Kristaps Porzingis out and the margin of error has evaporated. Leonard is unfazeable, but we're about to learn about the rest of his teammates.
