Kawhi LeonardSF, Los Angeles ClippersKawhi Leonard had a great Game 1 on Monday, dropping 29 points to go with 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals and a triple.
Leonard went 1-for-7 from deep, but 11-for-21 from the field overall. He also hit all six of his free throws and helped put away the Mavs late in the game after Patrick Beverley missed both of his free throws. The Fun Guy logged a team-high 38 minutes and was awesome in all aspects outside of his 3-point shooting tonight. In crunch time he was able to muscle his way to his spots and nail his patented mid-range jumpers while also dropping dimes to his teammates. His improved playmaking this season has already made its mark in Game 1 of this postseason and now that he has no minutes restriction, we're going to see some big games from the reigning finals MVP.
