Joel Embiid posted 26 points and 16 rebounds on Monday as the Sixers fell to the Celtics.

Embiid shot 8-for-15 from the field and 9-for-12 from the foul line. It wasn't enough to overcome a late burst by the Celtics, who won 109-101. Embiid had two steals but also committed five turnovers during Game 1.
