    SF, Houston Rockets

Jeff Green put up 22 points coming off the bench in the Rockets' Game 1 victory over the Thunder on Tuesday.

Green finished with six boards, four assists and a steal to go along with the 22 points (8-of-12 FG, 3-of-7 3PT) in 32 big minutes coming off the bench. The Rockets were in sync on Tuesday, penetrating the lane with ease and kicking to open shooters all evening long. The Rockets were without Russell Westbrook (strained right quad) and were looking to spread out the production they usually get from him. "It was a team effort. We've got guys in the open court that can make plays. We've got to take a lot of pressure on James [Harden]. They're going to focus on him, so we've got to do our job to try and make plays," Green said. He was impressive in his supporting role and showed why he continues to find a spot on an NBA roster year-in and year-out.
