Ja MorantPG, Memphis GrizzliesJa Morant notched a double-double in the Grizzlies' first game back on Friday, playing 41 minutes and finishing with 22 PTS (7-for-22 FG, 1-for-7 3PT), 11 dimes, five rebounds and a steal in an 140-135 OT loss to the Blazers.
Morant's shot was a little rusty in this one, as he only knocked down a single 3-pointer. He was still his usual self as a facilitator, however, and will undoubtedly remain captain of the Grizzlies' attack through the seeding games and into the playoffs (if they end up qualifying). Obviously, it would be nice if Morant was able to splash a couple more shots from deep, but the Grizzlies put up a good fight on Friday afternoon nonetheless.
