Daquan JeffriesSG, Sacramento KingsDaQuan Jeffries picked up seven minutes off the bench on Friday against the Spurs, converting his lone shot attempt and sinking both of his free throws (four points).
Jeffries proved himself during the scrimmages and had only received more minutes in one game this season (and that was all the way back in November). The Kings are not likely to qualify for the playoffs so there are plenty of potential opportunities through the remainder of their seeding games. Jeffries spent most of 2019-20 in the G League but he is doing a superb job in terms of lobbying for an NBA roster spot next season.
