According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Alvin Gentry has emerged as a serious possibility to join Doc Rivers on his coaching staff in Philadelphia.

Alvin Gentry was just relieved of his role in New Orleans and it's looking like he won't be looking for a new role for long. If Gentry does get an assistant spot, we'll see if his offensive mindset injects some creativity into this offense.
