Thomas BryantC, Washington WizardsThomas Bryant failed to take a big step forward in 2019-20, ending the year with top-120/110 value (8/9-cat) while batling injuries.
Byrant missed 24 games with separate right foot problems, but even before he got hurt his production wasn't in line with middle-round expectations after he had a great close to the 2018-19 season. He gets credit for shooting .407 on his 3-point attempts, but he simply couldn't carve out enough playing time to really jump up the rankings. His points (12.1), rebounds (6.8) and steals (0.4) all increased slightly, but nothing out of line with his three-minute increase in playing time, while his blocks stayed level at 0.9. A healthy season might have people singing a different tune but Bryant, who will also have to contend with a rising Moe Wagner, has some on-court limitations that might prevent him from ever being a true workhorse. Improved speed and agility will be crucial to his long-term outlook but he should hold steady with a floor near the top-100.
