Shabazz NapierPG, Washington WizardsShabazz Napier cooked up top-115/150 (8/9-cat) value in 2019-20, ending up in the right places at the right times and making the most of his chances to produce.
Napier started the season with the Wolves and quickly rose to the starting five once Minnesota moved Jeff Teague off their priority list and it became clear that Jarrett Culver wasn't quite ready to run the show. Things got even better in Washington, where he grabbed hold of the starting spot and held off Ish Smith down the stretch. All told he put together 10.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.4 3-pointers in 24.2 mpg while making a career-high 30 starts. Entering free agency, we doubt that Napier can land in such favorable circumstances again, but any shot at a starting role would have to put him in the late-round equation.
