I saw another white thread already but this is a little different. It’s not about White specifically but if I should drop him for now and try to grab him back later when he’s closer to returning.
im in a 12 team 9 cat h2h league. There are a lot of intriguing names for FA right now: Elfrid Payton, Hart, Deandre Hunter, Miles Bridges (how long will Hayward be out for?), Melton, Brooks, Kyle Anderson?
I know team needs matter. But in a vacuum who has the most upside early in the season?

I'd hold on to him. He'll be better than all of them once he's back, and he'll beat them all by totals across the season.
Unless you desperately need to have a fully active roster, I'd hold until there's a firm date for him etc.
I'm in the same boat. I have him as a 9th round keeper in Monday's draft, but don't think I can hold him. "Weeks away" doesn't sound promising...
I'd probably grab Payton. Then Hunter.
White is FAR superior to any of those guys. Taking zeroes sucks, though. I'd go Payton and pray White doesn't get scooped. Just too hard to take goose-eggs in an unlimited games format. If you can stash, though, you really ought to.
White just got IL status! So I can stash him and pick up someone for free now. Sweet. I'm gonna go Payton, but skimming the FA list again, I just noticed Gary Harris was undrafted. I remember 2/3 years ago he was easily top 50 guy.
