Looking to trade away lower tier players for some with upside. I have portis and DLo hanging around the bottom of the barrel… and was looking to maybe trade them away for some upside, capitalizing on some “lower ranked” players. Would Sengun and melton be good targets? I need some defensive stats without players that totally destroy my %, and currently those 2 seem to hurt said %. Good for rebounds but I’m thinking sengun wouldn’t be too far from it. What do you think?
I don't trust Sengun's defensive stats ROS, though he should be decent in blocks as his minutes continue to tick upwards on average. What about targeting a guy like Jaden McDaniels? Averaging a little over a steal and a block per game. Might be able to get him on the cheap. Might even be able to go Portis for McDaniels straight up. I like Melton for sure, his percentages should come around at least somewhat. Keep an eye on Caleb Martin as well, he could be coming around and cash counters are his calling card.
Just to be clear… Were you thinking of trying to do a two for one?

If you can combine pieces to get up to Sengun, yeah, I'd do that
