I've been thinking of dropping Melton for Okongwu in my 12t 9cat league. At the beginning of the season, I had high hopes for Okongwu and still think he would excel as the season goes on. Still, I know that Melton has also great potential in 9cat, so wanted to ask for your expertise in this subject. What do you think?
This one is so tough! Melton has the runway and hasn't done much with it. Okongwu has been better over the past couple weeks but is really waiting on Capela to break out. For me, it's a toss up.
I suppose if you made me choose right now, I would go with Okongwu. He's been performing at a top 100 level with someone in the way. Melton has had the opportunity but hasn't produced.
Both have tremendous upside. A really difficult choice.
I think I lean Melton, mostly because Capela has been terrific and unless he gets hurt he's not moving aside.
