We've been using ESPN for the last couple of years, but one of my GM's has asked me to consider switching to Yahoo next year. I heard there's a button that sets your lineup for the day, which I like. However, I heard the lack of customization is a buzzkill.

My main concern is the schedule. I heard we can't change the schedule. Does anyone know if we can move the playoff weeks up? We like the playoffs to conclude at the end of March to avoid the silly season. Also, we combine the two all-star weeks into one week and top 2 seeds get byes. We used Y! several years ago and at that time, we couldn't do any of that. Also, we couldn't change the number of vetoes needed, and it did that annoying thing where it messes up your lineup after you make a pickup even though you've set the lineup for the week.

Next year will be our 12th year, so switching sites will be a big deal. Hearing your pros and cons will be a big help. Thanks in advance.

Pretty sure you can adjust playoff schedule in Yahoo but I guess I'm not 100% certain on it.

I'm an unabashed Yahoo-lover, mostly because I really dig their interface.

You can combine the two all star weeks because we did that this season and you can have a buy because we had that in our other league as well.

We’ve done our league for 4 years now 2 in ESPN and 2 in yahoo and I much prefer yahoo. Think only one guy doesn’t like the change over. The apps much easier to use for yahoo and you just get better visibility on player stats and the team lineup set now does it for the entire week which is super handy.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Does anyone know for sure if we can adjust the playoff schedule, so that we finish in March?

I think it would depend on how many teams you have and whether you want bye weeks for the playoffs and whether you combined the all star?

I think the earliest you can do is wk 22
