Yahoo Pro (money) Leagues are now open.
Thanks for looking out, jabaird!
Now, I'm just wondering when they'll open the option to create a private league with monetary payouts. Their Pro leagues are okay, but all of the settings are set and exactly the same for each one...so no changing the playoff schedule, not changing waiver rules from FAAB to waiver priority, no commissioner veto, etc. I'm ready to fire up a few leagues over there, but waiting on them to allow their usual, "make my league a cash league" option.
They need to get their stuff together. I swear, it's like we're dealing with a bunch of Yahoos!!
Hey Capt, if you need a serious GM for the money lead H2H , hit me up as long as it's not roto lol
If you want to do a Yahoo Private league with money you need to do a Yahoo Private league and find your own way to collect the money. Either use Pay Pal to have everyone send it to you, or use a sports money collection service. Yahoo does not provide this service for their Pro Leagues. If you look at the existing Private Leagues on Yahoo you will see that some are free and some are money leagues. Good luck.
Capt I got a yahoo h2h 9 cat league $100 buy in 2 spots left.
Lmk if interested
It seems you can’t register to play the Pro / Cash leagues from Australia. Any ideas on how to join a secure/reliable cash league legally from Aus.
I’m also interested in Dynasty if anyone has a league to join, feel free to PM me.
The work around to your issue in Australia is to join a private or public league that collects league dues via pay pal or another alternative. If the Yahoo league is not a Pro league, you should be able to draft anywhere.
This is a problem in the USA also as all 50 states do not allow you to draft Yahoo Pro leagues. Nevada does not allow you to draft Pro leagues. I once had to drive from Reno, Nevada to Truckee, California to draft on my phone app. I should add, it's possible Nevada allows it now, but it did not two years ago.
Hey. Thanks for that advice, it makes sense. The non-pro leagues just don't seem quite as secure, in the end fully trusting a group of fandoms with your entry money. Minor difference maybe in the end.
