Hey guys,
I keep trying to work out if I should use my potential waiver claim to pick up Steven Adams and drop Henson. I want to shore up more blocks and minimise reduction in FT% amongst others.

It's a 10 team 9 cat league:
My team is:
Wall
Jokic
Bledsoe
M Gasol
Covington
Tobias Harris
Hardaway Jnr
Brogdon
E Gordon
Kanter
Oladipo
Henson
T prince

What would you do?

Adams isn't really a much better free throw shooter (at least he hasn't been up to this season), but I'd pick him up and drop Henson.

If you're wanting to shore up more blocks, dropping Henson for Adams might not be too helpful. Steve Adams is one of those odd centers like Monroe who tends to help with steals more than blocks, though he's doing all right with blocks so far this season. Henson will help you more with blocks though he has a lower upside than Adams.

Adams is a better ROS play than henson.

And you know how hard it is for me to say that.

Thanks guys, Dan love your pod casts and because of them I jumped on Henson island with you! That's why I'm finding it so hard to decide what to do.

I think I'll claim Adam and monitor Henson. Hopefully no one else picks him up straight away!

Thanks Aaron!

And if I may ask ... how did you find the pod/hoop ball? I'm just trying to get an idea of how we're being successful with our messaging.

I drive a lot for work in Australia. Heard you on a chat with In this League, and just started following you and Bruski ever since. I managed to find the ITL pod by searching fantasy basketball in the app on the phone.

The content and daily uploads you guys are doing is really helpful and entertaining

Love those ITL guys! They're in the Pantheon of Good Dudes that I'd like to start some day.

Thanks again for the kind words!

Of course, anything you can do to help us spread the good HoopBall word we always appreciate! 🙂

Settle down on the word spreading Aaron.
We don't want too many in Australia to have such a valuable source of information 😉

Its a tough one isn't it, I'll spread word to guys out of my league, will eventually tell guys in my team towards middle or end of season - maybe even to the one or two guys that struggling right now if they ask. But I feel like I've got a cheat code right now

Don't tell people in your league. Haha. Tell other people.

Its not a cheat code. I see it as 1-2 hours "work" you are doing that others maybe arent. In that context, you should just work at McDonalds and probably be paid more.... though less bragging rights.

Was just trying to make a compliment to the hoop ball team that their hard work makes it easy for fans like me to enjoy a competitive edge in fantasy basketball thanks to all the great resources they produce.

I don't quite understand your McDonalds analogy, but thanks for the input
